Thoughts on life

Loved this place, has 4 areas with paintings, some are really big. Because of the lighting you need to step back quite far to see the bigger painting in there true potential. I paid 25 zl to enter students till 26 pay 1 zl (jealous). You are allowed to take pictures which I do to get inspired in the future. When you enter you need to walk up the stairs all the way for the paintings. One floor below is a cafe. Which I didn’t enter. 4 stars because it was quite a short visit.

For the price of 25 zloty you can visit this place as well as a few others in town. This exhibition of Polish 19th century paintings is really beautiful and some of the artwork is stunning through quality and size. Exhibition consists of 4 rooms each with it's own personality and theme. The building is also quite interesting architecturally and it has been modernised while retaining the old charm. A treat to anyone interested in paintings!

A nice art gallery on the top floor of the cloth hall. Houses some interesting paintings by great polish artists like Matejko.

Beautiful museum, but please adjust the light better. When you want to see a picture closer, to observe all details, you literally can’t, because of illumination.
